Step 1: Request an Internal Review
If you disagree with a decision (e.g., denial of benefits, calculation error), you must first request an Internal Review. This must be done within 30 days of receiving the decision letter.
Step 2: The Social Benefits Tribunal (SBT)
If the internal review is unsuccessful, you can appeal to the SBT. The SBT is an independent body that reviews ODSP decisions. You can bring a lawyer or paralegal, often available through Legal Aid.
